Mingyang, BASF cleared to build 500-MW offshore wind farm in China

Mingyang Group and BASF SE have obtained approval for their joint project to build a 500-MW wind farm off the coast of South China that will supply power to a local site of the German chemicals giant. Construction works to start this year, with commissioning by end of 2025. Most output to be supplied to BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site.
