Moldova kicks off first renewables auction

Moldova's Ministry of Energy has launched its first renewables tender for up to 165 MW of solar and wind projects. The auction aims to procure 60 MW of solar and 105 MW of wind projects. Successful applicants will receive a fixed price for 15 years. The government will award contracts based on the lowest price offered. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2025.
