Moldova targets 30% renewable electricity consumption by 2030

Moldova is aiming to increase its renewable energy capacity by setting targets for electricity consumption through renewable power. The Ministry of Energy in Moldova has launched tenders for solar PV capacity, with plans to increase installed renewable energy capacity. They are seeking 60MW of solar PV capacity with specific price caps. The government has already implemented support instruments to promote renewable energy generation, with a focus on solar PV plants. Moldova is also looking to export renewable energy to neighbouring countries.
