Monitoring system for vehicle-integrated photovoltaics

Scientists from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia developed a monitoring system, PVMU, to estimate the effect of energy production on the driving range of vehicles with solar panels. The system uses an IV curve scanner, MOSFET, ADC, and MCU to monitor solar panel performance. The system was tested on a Tesla Model 3 with a crystalline PV module.
