Montenegro’s transmission system operator CGES signed a contract for the connection of a 87.5 MW solar power plant. Investors with grid connection agreements for projects in Montenegro are increasing. The Vraćenovići photovoltaic plant will be connected to the transmission system. The plant's construction near the village of Vraćenovići is expected to increase renewable energy production and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
