NADBank says Recurrent Energy Texas BESS ‘carries acceptable risk’ for construction loan

Recurrent Energy is seeking a loan from NADBank to fund the construction of a standalone battery storage facility in Maverick County, Texas. The Fort Duncan project will utilize lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery units and connect to the ERCOT grid via LCRA's Sunglow Substation. NADBank offers market-rate loans for renewable energy projects within certain regions of the US and Mexico. Recurrent has also secured financing for another energy storage facility in Arizona.
