National Grid wins £15m for net zero schemes

National Grid has been awarded £15m for three net zero innovation projects by Ofgem’s Strategic Innovation Fund. These projects aim to support regional energy planning, maximize distribution network capacity for low carbon technologies, and develop a long-term strategy to reduce SF6 gas dependency. The projects will accelerate the transition to a net zero future.
