New doping strategy increases lead-free perovskite solar cell efficiency

A group of researchers led by the University of Lahore in Pakistan developed a solar cell based on a lead-free perovskite material, Cs2AgBiBr6, doped with polyacetylene to reduce the energy bandgap and improve performance. The cell achieved a power conversion efficiency of 3.98%.
