Romania's future energy strategy aims to accelerate decarbonization of the national energy system through increased share of renewable energy, nuclear energy rehabilitation, and natural gas production self-sufficiency. The strategy includes offshore wind installation, hydropower projects, nuclear reactor rehabilitation, and enhancing energy transmission capacity. It also focuses on energy storage projects and ensuring regional stability and security.
