New solar panels produce water from humidity

US manufacturer Source Global has developed a solar module technology that generates drinking water from atmospheric humidity using PV electricity. The company has introduced Commercial Hydropanel and R3 Residential Hydropanel, claiming to be the world's first renewable drinking water system. These panels can operate independently in various locations and produce clean water as low as 10% humidity in the air. The system collects water vapor, converts it into liquid water, maintains water circulation, and mineralization for taste. The panels are already deployed in places like Oman.
