New South Wales sets Australia’s first distributed solar and storage uptake target

The New South Wales government is implementing a Consumer Energy Strategy to enable households and small businesses to access solar PV, battery energy storage, and other energy-saving technologies. The strategy aims to support grid reliability, reduce carbon emissions, and allow aggregated consumer energy resources to participate in the National Electricity Market.
