New York approves onshore renewables solicitations alongside energy storage plan

New York aims to reach a zero-emission electricity sector by 2040. State governor Kathy Hochul announced the approval of the Energy Storage Roadmap 2.0. The plan includes competitive solicitations for onshore renewables and a target to achieve 70% renewable energy on the grid by 2030.
