New York launches new solicitation for onshore renewables

New York governor Kathy Hochul launched a solicitation for new large-scale renewable energy projects to support the state's goal of 70% renewable electricity by 2030. The RES request for proposals, managed by NYSERDA, includes provisions like inflation indexing and labour requirements. The solicitation process involves two steps with deadlines in July and August 2024.
