New Zealand's Genesis, Spark seal PPA for 63-MW solar project

Genesis Energy Ltd and Spark New Zealand Ltd have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the electricity generated by the 63-MW Lauriston solar farm near Christchurch, New Zealand. Spark will purchase Lauriston’s entire output, meeting around 60% of its annual power requirements. The remaining 40% will be sourced from the grid. The joint venture between Genesis and FRV Australia, a unit of Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, is promoting the Lauriston solar project.
