Nextracker expands U.S. manufacturing with Unimacts

Nextracker has announced its second steel torque tube factory in Sloan, Nevada, near Las Vegas, partnering with Unimacts. The factory will be owned by Unimacts and produce steel components exclusively for Nextracker, increasing annual solar tracker capacity to over 30 GW. The new facility will support 2 GW of solar power annually. American manufacturing is thriving due to the localized clean steel industry and high demand for renewable energy. Solar developers are focusing on U.S. made content to qualify for domestic content bonus credit.
