Nofar starts building 26 MW solar farm in Serbia

Israel's Nofar Energy is building a 26 MW solar plant near Ada village in Serbia, with head of financial and legal department, Ana Stankovic, mentioning it as the largest renewable energy project in the country. The project is valued at 25 million euros and is set to generate 33.2 GWh of electricity annually, sufficient for 9,000 households. Expected to be operational by the end of 2024, the project involves two solar plants, Ada 1 and Ada 2. Nofar Adria, a Belgrade-based subsidiary of Nofar Energy, is overseeing the Serbian project. Turkish company Girisim Elektrik has been contracted for the construction work.
