Nordex bags 148MW US order

Nordex has secured a contract for supplying 25 units of its N149/5.X turbines from the Delta 4000 series for an unnamed wind project in California. The turbines, featuring 89-metre seismic towers, are scheduled for delivery in the summer of 2025 with commissioning planned by the end of that year. Additionally, Nordex will provide a 10-year service contract for the turbines. To date, Nordex has sold over 738 Delta 4000 series turbines in the US and Canada, totaling more than 3.6GW in capacity.
