Nordic Solar enters BESS market with 10-MWh project in Denmark

Nordic Solar A/S is starting the construction of its first battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Denmark. The 10-MWh project in Borup, Hillerod Municipality on Zealand, is the first of many such projects planned by the company. Nordic Solar has collaboration with Hillerod Municipality and Hybrid Greentech. CEO Nikolaj Holtet Hoff anticipates rapid growth in the battery storage market and sees it as an opportunity for value creation in European solar energy projects.
