Nordic Solar’s Q1 loss widens due to lower power production, prices

Danish solar company Nordic Solar A/S reported a 45% year-on-year increase in its loss for the first quarter of 2024. Lower electricity prices and production levels affected revenue. CEO Nikolaj Holtet Hoff mentioned the challenges faced due to poor weather and curtailment in solar parks in Poland. The company's forecast for 2024 includes revenue of EUR 57-69 million and EBITDA of EUR 36-48 million.
