North Macedonia’s new government to introduce ministry of energy

The new Government of North Macedonia will introduce five new ministries, including the Ministry of Energy, Mining and Mineral Resources. The future energy minister is yet to be announced. The changes are part of a new law on state administration makeover proposed by the prime minister-designate, Hristijan Mickoski. The new government will have 20 ministries, up from the current 16. Major announcements include a significant energy investment project and the reorganization of the government to address distribution of responsibilities and representation of key challenges.
