Novel assessment of PV-powered air conditioning

The research from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Turkey focused on investigating how solar power can enhance the performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. By using a solar-powered heater in an air conditioner, they observed improvements in the coefficient of performance and reduction of negative environmental effects by decreasing energy consumption of the compressor. The study highlighted the importance of using PV to improve energy consumption of AC systems and analyzed the environmental impact through life cycle climate performance method.
