Obton, GSSG Solar team up to buy 117-MW solar portfolio in Japan

Danish investor Obton has partnered with GSSG Solar LLC to form a joint venture for acquiring a 117-MW solar portfolio in Japan. The portfolio includes eight operational parks totaling 104 MW and one 13-MW project under development. The solar farms were commissioned between 2017 and 2022, with the aim of generating clean electricity for over 30,000 Japanese households. Prior to this collaboration, Obton acquired GSSG's 82-MW solar plant in Fukushima, Japan.
