Ocotillo Wells solar, BESS plant up and running in California

Qcells USA, part of Hanwha Qcells, completed the Ocotillo Wells solar farm with a battery energy storage system in Borrego Springs, California. The project, owned by Vitol, is the largest utility-scale renewables project in San Diego County. Vitol signed an agreement to supply renewable energy credits to Meta Platforms Inc.
