Octopus Energy makes first US renewables investment

Octopus Energy, the UK's largest electricity supplier, has made its first investment in US renewables by acquiring two new solar farms in Ohio and Pennsylvania. The company has a target of investing $2bn in projects by 2030, managing a global solar power portfolio of 2GW and expanding its tech platform, Kraken, into North America.
