Octopus to invest £2bn in UK renewables

Octopus Energy Generation pledges £2bn investment into UK clean energy projects, including 222MW of solar capacity by 2030. BayWa r.e. to develop four new solar farms in Bristol, Essex, East Riding of Yorkshire, and Wiltshire. Mention of solar park Perrinpit Road, Driffield, South Fambridge Hall, Corner Copse. BayWa r.e. will manage solar assets and construction. Christine McGregor, Managing Director, UK & Ireland at BayWa r.e., emphasizes partnership with Octopus Energy Generation. Octopus backs various renewable projects in Britain including wind farms, battery projects, and solar farms.
