OMV eyes Serbia, Bulgaria for investments in renewables

OMV intends to expand its renewables business in Southeast Europe. OMV, an Austrian oil, gas, and chemicals group, stated that Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Hungary have great wind and solar power potential. The company is investing in various renewable energy projects and technologies, such as biofuels, green hydrogen, and geothermal energy, in countries like Romania and Austria. Additionally, OMV is focusing on carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects.
