OMV Petrom reported 178% higher net profit in H1

OMV Petrom reported a 178% higher net profit in the first half of the year (H1) compared to the previous year. Sales revenues slightly decreased while operating results varied in different sectors. Christina Verchere, CEO of OMV Petrom, highlighted the successful energy provision and significant contributions to Romania's state budget. The group's investments were mainly directed towards Exploration and Production.
