US battery energy storage developer and independent power producer On.Energy acquires a portfolio of battery energy storage systems in California with a total capacity of 480 MWh. The projects are utility-scale distributed generation schemes in southern and coastal California, aiming to strengthen the company's position in the local renewable energy market. On.Energy plans to begin development immediately and expects commercial operations to start by late 2026.
