OPEC revised its forecast for global oil demand growth in 2024, citing weaker-than-expected data from the first half and lower expectations from China. The organization expects global oil demand to rise by 2.11 million barrels per day in 2024. Despite challenges, demand for transportation fuels is predicted to remain solid. The International Energy Agency expects weaker global oil demand compared to OPEC's forecast.
