Oracle Power, China Electric Power planning 1.3GW solar-storage-wind project in Pakistan

Oracle Power PLC, a London-headquartered renewables developer, has begun feasibility studies for a 1.3GW solar, wind, and battery energy storage system project in Jhimpir, Sindh Province, Pakistan. The project includes an 800MW solar PV plant, a 500MW wind project, and a BESS of undisclosed size. Power Planners International will undertake the grid interconnection study on behalf of Oracle Power and its Chinese development partner. Oracle CEO Naheed Memon emphasized the importance of the feasibility study for future confirmation of potential off-take and financing arrangements.
