April 2024 experienced shifted irradiance patterns in North America due to a Pacific high-pressure anomaly and drier tropical air. This resulted in enhanced solar irradiance in the Southwest, Florida, and Mexico, while Texas, northeastern United States, and parts of Canada experienced below-average levels due to persistent low-pressure systems and storms. A severe weather outbreak in Texas impacted both irradiance and infrastructure.
