Partners complete Ukrainian wind farm

MND, a joint venture between KKCG’s Czech subsidiary and Ukrainian company Eco-optima, completed the construction of its first wind power plant, WF Oriv, amidst challenges related to the war in Ukraine. Despite the delays caused by Russian aggression, the project was successfully finished with an investment of over €60m. The wind farm, located in the Carpathian Mountains, consists of 10 turbines and had a planned capacity of 55MW, later increased to 59.4MW through software modifications. The completion of the project demonstrates Czech dedication to Ukraine and the success of Czech companies in the region, showcasing MND's commitment to renewable energy expansion in Ukraine.
