Partners install Japanese floating solar demo

Partners have completed the installation of Japan’s first floating solar project in the Tokyo Bay area. SolarDuck, Kyocera Communication Systems Corporation, and Tokyu Land Corporation collaborated on this project, supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. SolarDuck and Everblue Technologies are working on a demonstration project related to cutting-edge renewable energy, focusing on power generation, storage, and transportation using floating solar power generation facilities and batteries. The renewable energy generated will be used for electric mobility vehicles and navigation of an electric boat. Future plans include using renewable energy for events in the Takeshiba area.
