Wisconsin Battery Company (WinBat) secured USD 5 million to advance development of hemp carbon battery technology and build new manufacturing facility. Collaboration with Infinite Power Systems to explore African market opportunities. Initial focus on zinc-air batteries for hearing aids and energy storage solutions for solar and wind power systems. Future manufacturing plant in Portage to be solar-powered with a recycling facility.
