Perovskite solar cell based on lithium salt-doped spiro-OMeTAD achieves 25.45% efficiency

Scientists from China's Northwestern Polytechnical University have developed a novel lithium-free doping strategy using Eu(TFSI) for spiro-OMeTAd-based perovskite solar cells, achieving remarkable efficiency levels with enhanced stability. The traditional LiTFSI doping process, which requires air-oxidation, was replaced by the immediate conductivity boost and ideal work function of spiro-OMeTAd HTLs doped with Eu(TFSI). The newly developed cells demonstrated higher efficiency and stability compared to cells with LiTFSI doping.
