Researchers at Hangzhou Dianzi University in China have developed a perovskite solar cell using potassium trifluoromethanesulfonate (KTFS) as an additive to reduce lead vacancy defects. The study showed that KTFS improved the surface morphology and crystallinity of the perovskite film, reducing lead impurities and enhancing stability. The device achieved a high efficiency of 23.96% with KTFS modification and exhibited lower hysteresis compared to the control device.
