Researchers at Hangzhou Dianzi University in China have developed a perovskite solar cell with the additive KTFS to reduce lead vacancy defects. The study showed that the KTFS-modified film had better surface morphology and crystallinity compared to the control film. KTFS did not affect the energy bandgap of the perovskite material. The device achieved a power conversion efficiency of 23.96% with KTFS modification.
