Perovskite tandem PV integrator secures $4.7 million of US funds

Tandem PV, a perovskite solar panel developer, has received a $4.7 million award from the DoE's Solar Energy Technologies Office to advance its thin-film solar technology. The company aims to increase solar panel efficiency by pairing conventional silicon cells with perovskite materials. Tandem PV plans to validate the durability and efficiency of its perovskites in 2024 and establish a manufacturing facility. The company has raised $33 million in funding since its founding in 2016.
