Petrobrazi Refinery: Investments of over 2 bln. euro by 2030

The Petrobrazi refinery in Romania, owned by OMV Petrom, is celebrating its 90th anniversary. The refinery is a key player in the decarbonisation of the transport sector, with over 2 billion euros of investments planned by 2030 for biofuels, green hydrogen, and traditional fuel production. OMV Petrom is also investing in sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel, and green hydrogen production facilities. The company aims to reduce carbon intensity by over 15% by 2030 and supports social projects in Prahova.
