Photon Energy reports Q1 revenue fall, sees full-year rise

Photon Energy NV, based in Amsterdam, saw a decline in consolidated revenues in the first quarter of 2024 due to lower electricity prices despite an increase in generation. The company added 3.8 MWp to its IPP portfolio during the quarter and issued a full-year guidance of EUR 90-100 million in revenues and EUR 16-18 million in EBITDA. CEO Georg Hotar highlighted efforts to improve business resilience. Photon secured a project refinancing agreement with EBRD and finalized a deal to sell a 20.4-MW solar project to Uniper Renewables GmbH.
