Portable photovoltaic system invented for disaster-stricken areas

Turkish engineers have designed innovative renewable energy solutions including a foldable photovoltaic system and a portable hydropower turbine. These solutions are aimed at providing quick and efficient electricity supply in cases of disasters and for refugees. The firm Türkiye Electromechanic Industry (Temsan) developed the Mobitem project, a movable photovoltaic system that can be easily set up and provide electricity to multiple families. Additionally, Temsan introduced a compact and foldable hydropower system called Hidrotem, which can be installed with minimal construction work.
