R Power, Elawan eye 2GW Italian solar opportunity

European solar developer R Power and Orix Group’s Elawan Energy have formed a joint venture to accelerate solar projects in Italy. The partnership aims to establish a portfolio exceeding 2GW of solar projects in the country, with Elawan Energy as the financial partner and R Power managing project origination and development expenses.
