Record values of solar photovoltaic energy production in Portugal in the second week of May

During the week of May 8, solar energy production increased in the Iberian Peninsula while it decreased in Italy, France, and Germany. Wind energy production increased in Portugal, Spain, and France but decreased in Germany and Italy. Electricity demand increased in most markets. European electricity market prices remained stable with some variations. Brent oil prices fluctuated, TTF gas futures decreased, and CO2 emission rights futures increased.
