Recurrent Energy, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, has powered a 360MW solar PV plant in Brazil. The Marangatu solar project in Brazil was developed by Recurrent Energy. Recurrent Energy owns 30% of the Marangatu project, while SPIC owns the remaining 70%. The CEO of Recurrent Energy, Ismael Guerrero, highlights their commitment to expanding renewable energy generation in Brazil. Recurrent Energy has a significant presence in Latin America and has operational projects in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia. Canadian Solar's subsidiary secured a €674 million revolving credit facility to expand the company's European solar projects, with a focus on Spain.
