Recurrent, Windel get planning permission for 200-MW BESS in UK

Recurrent Energy and Windel Energy have secured planning permission for their joint project to deploy 200 MW/400 MWh of battery energy storage system in the UK. The Harker project will be located in Carlisle, connected to the Harker National Grid Substation, with construction set to start in the last quarter of 2029. This project marks Recurrent's first BESS milestone in the UK.
