Reducing solar module temperature with acrylic sheets

Scientists at Mutah University in Jordan conducted experiments to reduce the operating temperature of photovoltaic panels by using clear acrylic sheets at various slopes. They found that the panels with acrylic sheets experienced a decrease in surface temperature, leading to improved electrical efficiency, output power, and cell life.
