Reliance secures exclusive licence for Nel's electrolysers in India

Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has an exclusive licence for Nel’s alkaline electrolysers in India and globally for captive purposes. Nel and Reliance will collaborate on R&D, value engineering, and standardisation. Nel can procure equipment from Reliance for its projects. Nel will also continue to serve the Indian market with technology platforms not covered by the licensing agreement. Reliance aims to be a global producer of renewable hydrogen.
