Renalfa puts into operation 25 MW BESS in Bulgaria

Vienna-based Renalfa IPP started operating a 25 MW utility-scale BESS in Razlog, Bulgaria. Local firm Solarpro Technology installed the BESS co-located with a 33 MWp PV plant. The system aims to mitigate PV profile risk. Renalfa IPP plans to introduce similar solutions in Hungary and Romania.
