Repower builds alpine solar park in Swiss Alps

Repower, a project developer based in Poschiavo, Graubünden, is planning to build a solar park high in the Alps near Vorab glacier in Graubünden, Switzerland. The solar plant aims to have an output of 8.6 megawatts and deliver around twelve gigawatt hours of electricity per year, primarily used by the Weisse Arena Gruppe in the Vorab ski area. The economic viability of the project is still uncertain.
