Repsol, Microsoft ink Spanish renewables supply deal

Repsol and Microsoft have signed six renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs) totaling 230MW capacity in Spain. These virtual PPAs are linked to three wind farms and three solar plants operational by December 2025. Repsol aims to reach 9000-10,000MW of installed renewable capacity by 2027. Microsoft plans to source 100% energy from renewables by 2025. They collaborate on digital solutions and Repsol provides Microsoft with renewable energy in Spain. Joao Costeira of Repsol highlights the importance of renewable energy in digital revolution and decarbonisation.
